President Erdogan discusses Turkiye's counterterrorism efforts with political leaders

President Recep Tayyip Erdogan discussed Turkiye's fight against terrorism with Nationalist Movement Party (MHP) Chairperson Devlet Bahceli and Good Party (IP) Chairperson Meral Aksener on Saturday.

During the meeting, developments regarding the ongoing counterterrorism operations initiated in response to the harassment and infiltration attempt by terrorists associated with the PKK/YPG/KCK were discussed. The attack in the Operation Claw-Lock region was a focal point of the deliberations.

Erdogan and Bahceli also exchanged views on the progress of the counterterrorism efforts during their discussion.

Erdoğan also held a telephone conversation with Aksener during which they discussed the terrorist attack in the Operation Claw-Lock region and the subsequent developments.
