While local sources claimed that targets are linked to Iran's axis militias, the Israeli government still hasn't commented on the incident.
Initial reports indicate that the Israeli strike targeted the vicinity of the Seyida Zainab area in Damascus. Initial reports added that there are 5 casualties and several injuries resulting from the explosion. The affected area is known for its residential structures and cultural significance, with the Al-Muhammadi Mosque being a prominent landmark.
