A hacker group has purportedly gained access to confidential information from Israel's Defense Ministry computers and has offered to sell it, according to reports.
Security sources confirmed to Israel Hayom daily the occurrence of a breach into the ministry's computers.
The group, making claims on Telegram, asserted its successful access to data from the Israeli Defense Ministry's computer systems.
Among the documents allegedly obtained by the hackers were "communications and orders," which they offered for sale for 50 bitcoins, equivalent to approximately $3.45 million.
Additionally, the hackers reportedly acquired extensive data but indicated they would only consider selling it if Israel agreed to release 500 Palestinian prisoners.
While security sources acknowledged the breach of the ministry's systems, they did not clarify the sensitivity of the stolen data.
