U.S. media reported that Erik Dean Prince, the founder of the private security company Blackwater and a former Navy SEAL, proposed a plan to the Trump administration regarding the deportation of undocumented immigrants.
Prince reportedly suggested that undocumented immigrants with criminal records should be detained in El Salvador instead of the U.S. before being deported to their home countries.
Sources indicate that Prince has visited Washington frequently after Trump's re-election, positioning himself as a shadow advisor to the administration, particularly concerning U.S. immigration policy.
El Salvador’s President Nayib Bukele later expressed willingness to accept not only undocumented immigrants from the U.S. but also dangerous criminals, highlighting a potential partnership.
Prince also presented additional proposals, including the use of private contractors, such as former U.S. special forces operators, for various initiatives such as border enforcement, counter-terrorism operations abroad, and securing foreign mineral deposits.
He also allegedly suggested using private military contractors to conduct operations against Houthi rebels in Yemen.
Sources revealed Prince maintains close ties with prominent figures such as Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth and National Intelligence Director Tulsi Gabbard. He was reportedly seen multiple times at the Pentagon, marking his first appearance there since being unofficially ostracized in 2020.
Some sources claim Prince participated in group messages with senior officials from the Department of Homeland Security, the Department of State, and the National Security Council at the White House.
