3 dead, 3 injured in deadly fire at Istanbul's steel construction site

In the Sultanbeyli district of Istanbul, a fire broke out early morning in a container housing workers of a private company, resulting in the loss of three lives and injuries to two workers, one of whom is in serious condition

A fire erupted in a container adjacent to a facility producing steel construction materials in Istanbul's Sultanbeyli district on Monday morning.

Upon receiving notification, numerous fire brigade and health teams were promptly dispatched to the scene.

Three people died in the fire and two others sustained injuries, with one of them in critical condition.

The Istanbul Governorate said in a statement that investigations into the cause of the fire are currently underway. Additionally, an inquiry into the incident has been initiated.
