Breaking records in many areas of tourism, Türkiye has started to intimidate its competitors in cruise tourism.
Last year, more than 1.5 million cruise tourists were hosted in Türkiye's ports while more than 1200 ships anchored. This year, these figures are expected to almost double.
At the beginning of the season, Turkey will host the world's third largest ship in Istanbul.
The ship, which launched last month and has a length of 345 meters and a capacity of 4,300 passengers, will dock at the cruise port in Tophane, Istanbul, on May 2.
