In July, the number of vehicles registered in Türkiye increased by 39.3% compared to the previous month, reaching 276,615 new registrations.
Of these, 46.9% were motorcycles, 39.4% were cars, 8.5% were vans, 2.6% were tractors, and 1.7% were trucks.
Compared to the same month last year, the number of vehicles registered grew by 19.1%, bringing the total to 276,615 vehicles.
The most significant increases were seen in minibus registrations, which surged by 123.7%, and bus registrations, which rose by 47.0%.
Special purpose vehicles saw a 41.4% increase, while motorcycle registrations increased by 27.9%. However, tractor registrations declined by 8.7%.
As of the end of July, the total number of vehicles registered in Türkiye exceeded 30 million, reaching 30,261,176.
Automobiles made up the largest share at 52.3%, followed by motorcycles at 19.0%, vans at 15.3%, and tractors at 7.4%.
During the January-July period, 65.2% of cars registered were petrol-powered, 13.1% were hybrids, 12.4% were diesel, and 8.3% were electric. Additionally, 38.7% of the cars registered in this period were gray.
