Turkish security forces eliminated 10 PKK terrorists in northern Iraq, the country’s National Defense Ministry announced Sunday.
"Some 10 PKK terrorists identified in the Pençe-Kilit Operation region in the north of Iraq were neutralized by an air operation. We continue our fight with great determination and determination to save our noble nation from the scourge of terrorism," according to the statement released by the ministry.
The ministry also expressed Türkiye’s determination to eliminate terrorists.
Türkiye launched Operation Claw-Lock in April 2022 to target the PKK terror organization's hideouts in Iraq's northern Metina, Zap, and Avasin-Basyan regions near the Turkish border.
