Türkiye's Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources has categorically denied claims regarding oil shipments from Ceyhan pipeline to Israel, stating that allegations of Türkiye’s involvement or approval of such activities are entirely unfounded.
In a detailed statement, the ministry explained that the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan (BTC) Crude Oil Pipeline operates under international agreements signed between Türkiye, Azerbaijan, and Georgia on November 18, 1999.
Meanwhile, the section of the pipeline within Türkiye is managed by BOTAS International A.S., which has no role in oil trading activities.
The ministry also emphasized that companies utilizing the BTC pipeline have adhered to Türkiye’s policy decision to halt trade with Israel. As a result, no oil shipments destined for Israel have been conducted from the Haydar Aliyev Port to global markets.
