Bari Iusubov, a terrorist associated with the PKK/YPG/KCK terrorist organization's operations in Russia, was apprehended in a joint operation conducted by Türkiye’s National Intelligence Organization (MIT) and police forces.
KCK (Kurdish Communities Union) is the umbrella body of the PKK terrorist group and its Syrian and Iranian offshoots.
According to security sources, Iusubov was involved in propaganda activities on behalf of terrorist groups in Russia, Kazakhstan, Armenia and the Mahmur Camp in Iraq.

Iusubov played a significant role in coordinating the PKK/YPG/KCK terrorist organization's propaganda efforts across multiple countries, including Russia and Iraq.
He was also found to have close ties with senior members of the terrorist organization and participated in its operations.
His involvement made him a key figure within the group’s international network. Iusubov had been under surveillance by MIT since 2020.
Following extensive tracking and investigation, the intelligence agency, in collaboration with the police, launched an operation leading to his arrest in Türkiye.
After being transferred to judicial authorities, Iusubov was formally charged and sent to prison.
Iusubov is now in custody, facing charges related to his involvement with the terrorist organization PKK/YPG/KCK. Authorities are continuing to investigate his connections within the group and his role in their broader international activities.
