President Recep Tayyip Erdogan extends condolences to Sudan's Sovereignty Council Chairman Abdel Fattah al Burhan following the tragic loss of his son in a traffic accident

President Recep Tayyip Erdogan held talks with Sovereignty Council of Sudan Chairman Abdel Fattah al Burhan on Monday evening at the presidential complex in Ankara.

According to the country's Communications Directorate, President Erdogan expressed his condolences to al Burhan for the loss of his son, who had been undergoing treatment in a hospital following a traffic accident in Ankara.

No further details regarding the meeting were disclosed by officials.

Mohamed A. Fattah al-Burhan passed away on April 3 following injuries sustained in a bike accident involving a vehicle. He had been receiving medical care at Bilkent City Hospital.
