In the past week, five new political parties have been established in Türkiye, according to the list of "active political parties" published on the website of Türkiye's Chief Public Prosecutor's Office of the Supreme Court of Appeals.
The newly founded parties include the Great Türkiye Party, Justice and Call Party, Socialist Ruling Party and Strong Anatolia Party, all of which were established on Aug. 19. Additionally, the Republican Light Party was founded on Aug. 21.
With the addition of these five parties, the total number of active political parties in Türkiye has now reached 151. The information was confirmed by an official listing on the Chief Public Prosecutor's website.
