Nechirvan Barzani, President of the Iraqi Kurdish Regional Government (KRG), arrived in Ankara on Tuesday morning for high-level discussions with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and other Turkish officials.
Before his scheduled meeting with President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Barzani held talks with Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan and National Intelligence Organization (MIT) chief Ibrahim Kalin.

Key meeting with Erdogan
Following the preliminary talks, Barzani was welcomed at the Presidential Complex, where his meeting with President Erdogan officially commenced.
The discussions are expected to cover a range of bilateral issues, including regional security, energy cooperation and trade relations.
