UEFA has handed Fenerbahce head coach Jose Mourinho a one-match suspension, ruling him out of the team's upcoming Europa League fixture against Midtjylland on Thursday.
The disciplinary action comes after the Portuguese manager delayed his team’s return to the pitch for the second half during Fenerbahce’s Europa League match against Olympique Lyon in the competition’s seventh week.
UEFA announced its latest sanctions ahead of the upcoming European fixtures, confirming Mourinho’s suspension.
As a result, the 62-year-old will be absent from the sidelines when Fenerbahce faces the Danish club in their eighth-round match.
