Fenerbahce, one of Turkey's football giants, will witness a live debate between current President and Presidential Candidate Ali Koc and former President and Presidential Candidate Aziz Yildirim, ahead of tomorrow's elections.
Meeting face-to-face for the first time in 6 years at the Ulker Stadium before the elections, current president Ali Koc and former president Aziz Yildirim will appear on a television program.
Fenerbahce President Ali Koc, who previously offered a live broadcast to presidential candidate Aziz Yildirim, reiterated his offer today at the congress, stating, "I was saddened by the way he left. A press statement was made, all their claims are baseless. Mr. President, it's not too late, he is coming at 5 o'clock, let's go on TV tonight... This is the last time in history I am making this offer; if you want, we can meet wherever you want and talk."
In his statement, Aziz Yildirim said, "I called President Ali Koc. I conveyed that we can talk one-on-one, without a moderator, on a national channel of his choice. We will appear live on a national channel chosen by him tonight."
It was announced that the two candidates will face each other on Haberturk at 23:00.
