Portuguese star football player Cristiano Ronaldo, who plays for the Saudi Arabian team Al Nassr, received Thursday's one-match ban for his demeanor toward fans.
Ronaldo also reportedly paid a fine of 10,000 Saudi Riyals to the federation and 20,000 Saudi Riyals to the Al Shabab Club.
After the match, Ronaldo was penalized for his move toward the opposing team's fans, who were chanting for the Argentinian star football player Lionel Messi.
In his defense, the Portuguese football player said: "I respect all the clubs. I was feeling the joy of the victory after the match. It was not a shameful act. We are used to this in Europe."
