Drone fired from Lebanon targets Netanyahu's residence in Caesarea

A drone launched from Lebanon struck the residence of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in Caesarea on Saturday, according to Israel Defense Forces (IDF) reports.

The incident triggered alarms across northern Israel and the central region, including Haifa. No casualties were reported, and Netanyahu was not at the residence at the time.

No injuries were reported in the attack, and Netanyahu’s office confirmed that he was not at the residence at the time of the incident.

Netanyahu’s office and the Israeli army have shared these updates:

• The drone was launched from Lebanon and directly hit the PM’s house in Caesarea.
• Police arrived to locate the scene of the attack. At about the same time, sirens sounded in Tel Aviv.
• Two other drones launched at the same time were reportedly intercepted.
• The incident triggered alarms in the Glilot military base, but the military later determined that drones were not in that area.
• The drone flew 70km from Lebanon.

Netanyahu's residence targeted

The drone reportedly crashed into a building near Netanyahu’s residence, causing no casualties. Social media posts and local reports indicated that the targeted structure was part of Netanyahu's home.

A spokesperson for the prime minister later confirmed that the drone was specifically directed toward the residence, though it failed to cause any significant damage.
