‘A place with a long history’

Providing a deeper look into the venue’s significance, Cakmak said, "The place we are in is steeped in history. Right next to us is Buklukale, an ancient settlement dating back to 3,000 B.C. There is the Cesnigir Bridge from the Seljuk period that was once part of the Silk Road. And all of this overlooks the magnificent Kiizilirmak River cutting through the canyon. It is a beautiful place where natural beauty and rich history comes together. It is a good place in terms of tourism."
