Enuygun, an online travel company in Türkiye, has reported a significant surge in flight ticket sales to Berlin for the 2024 European Football Championship quarter-final match between Türkiye and the Netherlands.
In a statement, Enuygun noted that the match, scheduled for tomorrow at the Berlin Olympic Stadium, has sparked immense interest among Turkish fans.
According to Enuygun's data, flight ticket sales for Berlin on July 3rd saw a remarkable increase of 550% compared to the previous day. Additionally, there was a 200% rise in flight ticket searches on July 4th.
Orkun Ozkan, Enuygun's Commercial Director, emphasized the significance of this match for Türkiye, marking the national team's first appearance in the quarter-finals since 2008. He stated, "With additional flights scheduled for July 6-7, we anticipate a continued rise in flight ticket searches and bookings from fans eager to be part of this excitement. I extend my best wishes to the national team for success in the upcoming match."
