The 57th edition of the Istanbul Jewelry Show (IJS), one of the world’s leading events in the jewelry industry, successfully concluded on April 19, drawing 31,459 visitors from 129 countries.

The 57th edition of the Istanbul Jewelry Show (IJS), one of the world’s leading events in the jewelry industry, successfully concluded on April 19, drawing 31,459 visitors from 129 countries.

According to a statement from the organizers, the event was held at the Istanbul Expo Center and organized by Informa Markets. It brought together 1,500 brands and companies, who showcased their latest products, designs, and collections to a global audience of industry professionals.

Held over four days, the exhibition hosted 31,459 visitors, marking a 4% increase in total attendance compared to the April 2024 edition. The number of domestic visitors rose by 14%, highlighting growing interest in the sector within Türkiye.

Türkiye’s gem show shines across the Middle East

Spanning seven halls and covering an area of 70,000 square meters (753,474 square feet), the fair attracted a diverse audience, with 71% of participants coming from Türkiye and the remaining 29% from abroad.

The highest number of international visitors came from Iran, India, Saudi Arabia, Algeria, the United Arab Emirates, Lebanon, Russia, Azerbaijan, Egypt, Iraq, Tunisia, Jordan, Morocco, the United States, Germany, Uzbekistan, and Italy.

Exhibiting brands presented their most recent designs, with gold, diamonds, silver, and precious stones taking center stage. The IJS Tech section of the event also featured jewelry manufacturing equipment, machinery, and related industrial products.

In addition to serving as a major commercial platform, the fair contributed to the development of the jewelry industry through various events, including the “Art for Jewellery: Inspiration Hub” hosted in collaboration with the Jewellery Exporters’ Association. Other highlights included a design competition held under the theme “Legends,” a trend seminar presented by WSGN, and activities organized by the Designer Club.

Following a successful spring edition, the global jewelry industry is now preparing for the 58th Istanbul Jewelry Show, scheduled to take place at the Istanbul Expo Center from October 1 to 4, 2025.
